Upscale hotel in the Business District of Beijing. Helpful staff. Good sized room, with comfy bed and work table and reading chair. Good mixture of USP and such ports. Good strong shower. Lots of choices for the breakfast buffet, although being in China, I'd have preferred more local options, and less western options. No more than 60 m from a subway station and only one stio from the airport Express. One long block from a small restaurant strip , most with English or picture menus.

Disappointing Stay at Park Plaza Beijing Wangfujing My experience at Park Plaza Beijing Wangfujing was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel if better alternatives are available. The biggest issue was the air conditioning, which was not operational during my stay due to the hotel’s seasonal changeover schedule. This came as an unpleasant surprise, and I felt the change had been implemented too early. The room became uncomfortable, and unfortunately, there was nothing the staff could do to resolve the issue. As a result, I had to keep the windows open for ventilation, which allowed considerable street noise into the room. This affected my comfort and made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful stay. The property itself also feels dated and could benefit from modernization. While it may have been a good hotel in the past, the overall condition did not meet my expectations. Breakfast was another disappointment, particularly from a taste perspective. The selection was not particularly impressive, and the noodle station and other food options were underwhelming. For a hotel of this category, I expected a better breakfast experience. Overall, the lack of air conditioning was the most significant drawback and had a direct impact on the quality of my stay. I understand that seasonal adjustments may be necessary, but guest comfort should remain a priority, especially when temperatures still make air conditioning desirable.
