"Very nice pools! Very good food! Staff wonderful! Large Morning coffee table would've been nice centrally located! The entertainment music was repetitive and would've liked to have seen more of a variety of different types of music for dancing. Their fire show was excellent! And I thought it was nice that they had exercising in one of the pools every day. And a nice weight room."

"Firstly the food at the buffet is amazing, we actually canceled a few reservations just so we could eat here more. So many options, and all amazing. Special mention to Altagracia just by the entrance, the loveliest person at the resort. Apart from that, the resort is very beautiful and well designed. Staff are professional and friendly. Beach is beautiful. This is a truly fantastic resort, 5 stars in all regards. "

"Room was very nice and well attended. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful, very well maintained. The landscape is amazing. It is a pleasure to walk around and see the variety of plants and vegetation. The only disappointment is the quality of the food. While it was ok in the buffets, jusk ok - the "specialty" restaurant were extremely mediocre. A great place like this should be proud of their food and restaurants. We spoke to other guests and they all agreed the food and quality in the restaurants could be much better to make this an unbelievable resort"

"The Tracadero property is a beautiful, lush, tropical oasis with infinity pools, gorgeous flowering bushes and majestic palms throughout. There's an excellent outdoor pizza place and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast and supper at the onsite restaurant. There is no beach but excellent snorkeling right off the rocky ledge and down a ladder. The people that work there are all very accommodating and we never had any issues in dealing with them. Our unit [#83 Marina] was large but sparse in that only 1 wine glass and 2 water glasses were to be found in the cupboards and NO microwave to be had. More were delivered but should have been available from the start since the unit can accommodate up to 4 people. Provided housekeeping items can be sparse but once you contact reception any needed items are delivered but maybe not post haste. All in all we loved our 4-night stay at Tracadero, both on site and walking around the Dominicus area either for supplies at the Mini Mart or enjoying delicious meals at an excellent choice of local restaurants."

"Beautiful Property, Not a True Luxury Experience At $1,500+ per night, the expectation is a seamless luxury experience. Casa de Campo is visually beautiful, but service and value did not match the price. Check-in required a 25+ minute wait for a “concierge check-in”, while 2 front desk agents remained unoccupied, yet there was no meaningful property overview or proactive assistance. The room was standard at best and consistently humid. We had booked expecting a hot tub, but only select rooms in another section section of the resort have them. Even after a partial adjustment through Expedia, the value was not there. The main pool shows visible wear, and overall upkeep does not reflect a luxury rate. Concierge service lacked initiative. When restaurants were full, we had to prompt alternatives. There was also confusion about what our stay included, despite the high rate, it covered no meals or experiences, only the room and a golf cart. Dining was good overall. Breakfast at Lago stood out thanks to Jael, who delivered the only truly five-star service we experienced. The property and golf course are beautiful, but service precision, clarity, and overall value fall short of true luxury standards. "

"We booked for the Hotel Alkquimia, however, we were unable to stay there and had to stay in another hotel owned by them which was unfinished and in a slightly different area of town. When I arrived neither of the desk agents spoke English or were able to tell me why I couldn’t check into my room. They were able to check in someone after me but my two rooms were unavailable due to someone not checking out. The other hotel we were taken too did not feel or even look as clean. The sheets had stains and we had to request new sheets."
