Beautiful setting

We found the property very relaxing. It's somewhat remote, which is what creates the bird and animal and human sanctuary like setting. We even had a small group of howler monkeys pass through. There were lots of varieties of birds as well. The beds were very comfortable. There is a full kitchen, but we chose to eat at the many delicious restaurants in the area. This is not a full service hotel and besides the beaches and hiking and the pool, there are not a lot of activities for kids who want zip lining etc. although available about 25 -30 km away. It was the perfect place for relaxing and our host was very helpful and hospitable!!

Jungle Getaway

We loved our stay. The location is quiet and beautiful, the pool a nice way to cool off and meet other guests and Louis the owner was very friendly and helpful with lots of local suggestions. You need a car to stay here as it is a 15 min drive off the highway. But it’s worth the trip up.

Not anywhere near the beach as advertised Gate was locked in pouring rain upon arrival Extremely hard to find/no address Staff does not speak any english at all (However very sweet and nice as they are :)) No phone in room Priced too high for being so remote and hidden in the jungle Jacuzzi was dry Room was run down NO Hot Water No washer./dryer Sheets were old, stained and worn. Room smelled of mold Only 2 towels, old and frayed and smelled of mold, no wash cloths, hand towels, or kitchen towels No parking anywhere even on the narrow dirt road with deep trenches on either side Mattress was old uncomfortable and very cheap, pillows were useless old and smelled Curtains and furniture were old and worn down I paid more to stay in a large beautiful 1 bedroom apartment suite in beautiful Dominical across the street from the beach, bars and restaurants and the fresh produce market place with large gated and guarded and landscaped grounds with large parking, pool, and laundry, clean remodeled with new appliances and a patio w hammok and next door to a strip shop with restaurants and a local store just next door. If the owners are reading this Id like to ask that you go stay in your own rooms and write a review for yourselves.

Basic rustic and desolate

Very basic simple accommodations. Nothing fancy at all. Not enough signs directing gps doesn’t take you far enough. Said check in by 3 or call. Called 20 Times no one answered and when they did. It a word of English. Checking in was a mater of getting pointed to the room and checking out was a garacias and adios. Rusty pans but Clean and cute but very basic.
