Domaine d’O is an 18th-century castle where all types of cultural events take place. In its 62 acres (25 hectares) of scenic gardens and woodland are three theatres where you can attend plays, recitals and comedy performances. Bring your family to attend an event in these majestic surroundings.
Embark on a guided tour of the castle, which is one of many so-called follies in Montpellier built by wealthy merchants in the 1700s. Admire the array of period furniture and ornate décor marking the chateau’s interior. Workshops for kids and adults are often organised in and around the castle.

Domaine d’O opens to the public year-round and is free to enter. The estate is in the northwestern part of Montpellier. From the Place de la Comédie, take the tramline to the Château d’O stop and walk northwest for a few minutes to get to the estate. You can also drive and leave your car in the parking lot. Visit some of the nearby landmarks, such as the Université Montpellier and the Paul-Emile Victor House for Everyone.
