"We stayed at this hotel so we could easily catch our flight out of Edinburgh the next day. It was a quick stay, but very convenient. There was a shuttle that came regularly to pick up guests and take them to the airport. Our car rental company, Arnold Clark, also shuttled my family to Double Tree after dropping off our car the afternoon before checking in to Double Tree. The restaurant had good food, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. One thing to note for families, If you are planning on using the pool and have kids under 16, as a parent you will have to swim with your children. Two kids to one adult. We had three kids and had to rotate one at a time to comply with this rule. You cannot just sit on the side of the pool and watch; you have to be in the pool with the kids so plan accordingly."

"Hotel is in a great location with plenty of public transport options, the room was bright, clean and comfortable, and the reception area and bar/lounge felt lovely. The whole pool area is small and feels tired but it’s a good facility to have. Was disappointed with the food - breakfast items just didn’t taste fresh. And ordered a meal on room service which tasted and felt like reheated food. Disappointing considering the cost of the stay but otherwise good."

"As a large corporate hotel I didn't have high expectations but boy was I wrong. Clean, super clean with cleaning ongoing all the time. Clean and fresh decor and perfect carpets. Staff all super friendly and helpful and the food, dinner and breakfast was above good. Could easily stay here anytime"
