Nice hotel, AC wasn't working

The hotel itself is very nice and historic inside. Our room was warm so I switched on the AC and we left the hotel. After our return, the room was still hot. So the AC wasn't working. At the front desk, I was told that they can check on this the next day as the AC was deactivated. We left the next morning so that didn't help at all for our sleep that night. We can't sleep in hot rooms. The employee told us to open the window if we'd like to cool down the room. I booked a hotel with AC so I can sleep in a cold room. But we had no other choice than open the window. Instantly an extreme air drought started which was insanely loud (never experienced something like that before). I figured to open a window at the hotel corridor so the air drought calmed down. After a couple of minutes, it started again. Someone closed the window. So I opened it again. After a couple of minutes, it started again. Someone closed the window. So I opened it again. Nice little game. Finally, I catched the bellboy and told him that we need this to stay open. He indicated to open a window at another room. That helped a bit but it was still noisy. We just wanted to sleep so I gave up on that. The breakfast was nice.

Quite good location and helpful staff, but it was the first hotel in Ukraine where I was not sure how clean the room was (used toiletries, nobody cleaned trash bin for the next day). Breakfast can be improved as well.

Stay Away!!!

One of the absolute worst hotels stays ever. The management of this hotel has no idea of the term hospitality. They try to make more money from the guests in every hidden way possible. The food was tasteless so I ask for a slice of lemon and hot sauce, they charged 1.5 for the lemon and 2.0 Euros for a drop of water diluted Tabasco sauce. They charge for a bottle of drinking water in the room and an enormous amount for laundry. No coffee or tea in the room as any respectable 4 or 5 hotels would. In the end, a bad hotel in a nice building. Watch out!

Will stay here again

Beautifully decorated small hotel; polite staff spoke perfect English. I asked for an upgraded room somewhat larger and that was no problem. The basic room is probably good enough unless you’re looking for some more space. Clean rooms and comfortable beds and perfect room service. The location is perfect: less than one block from a main Avenue so it’s nice and quiet but easy to get to the city center and Riverside attractions. I will definitely stay here again.

It needs to be said. The hotel did not accept the fee from subscribing inside of Ukriane. So they said I had to pay bill when leaving. So their English was good but not great to explain the situation. I was worried they might be taking advantage of me. But after I checked the price conversion on my Visa card it was correct price That i agreed to from your discount price. So I was releaved.Otherwise amazing rooms and decoration and setting in new Building.

Gracious hotel in convenient neighborhood

A beautiful hotel with kind and gracious service of a kind Americans rarely see these days. The staff was happy to work with our schedule and answer any questions. Language was not an issue. It was also very secure. Breakfast was included in our rate but was to order. The restaurant is very, very good for dinner. The surrounding neighborhood includes banks, shopping, an international grocery store, and is a short walk to the main thoroughfare.
