"I came to Ulvik/Villavik to see where my ancestors once lived and to walk where they once walked. The Handanger Fjord and all areas surrounding are amazing! Vallevik Fjordhytter, our cabin on the mountain was charming and peaceful and everything one could want! Paul was there for us if we ever needed anything or had any questions, very kind! I would love to return some day and if I do I hope to stay here again."

"Die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter klappte reibungslos. Wir waren zu zweit. Das Haus ist für vier Personen angegeben. Das stimmt exakt. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal für eine Vielzahl von Unternehmungen: Wanderung zum Vøringsfossen, von Norheimsund mit dem Schiff im Hardangerfjord oder mit der 'Voss Gondol' in die Höhe - für alle ist etwas dabei."

"Overall the place is good for the cost. Flooring needed some repair, no soap or shampoo provided, light bulb out and wasn't super clean, lots of stuff laying about outside. But the apartments are fairly modern and nice for the money and there was free coffee. "

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Vermieter wohnt gleich im Nebenhaus, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Bei Problemen ist er sofort da um die Probleme zu lösen. Das Haus selber ist klein aber fein. Zum Haus geht ein Fussweg, welcher im Winter Schneebedekt und vereist war. Wir konnten nicht direkt bis an das Haus heran fahren. Die Lage selber ist sicherlich im Sommer sehr schön, im Winter wenig Schnee. Brennholz für den Ofen haben wir beim Vermieter geordert. Wir mussten nur anrufen und...

"Enkel hytte uten innlagt vann, dusj og toalett. Finnes felles dusj og toalett på området. Også mulighet for å hente vann der. Vi var bare ute etter en plass å sove ut før hjemreisen, så for oss var det greit nok. Vennlig person i resepsjonen gjorde oppholdet bedre. En ok opplevelse men kommer nok ikke tilbake."

"Ansich ein sehr schönes, gemütliches Häuschen. Leider war es bei unserer Ankunft nicht besonders sauber und es war sehr kalt. Der Vermieter wohnt neben an und war sehr bemüht. Aber man musste jeder morgen der Kamin anfeuer da es weniger als 8 Grad waren. Es ist schnell abgekühlt und nur langsam wieder warm geworden. Es gibt 2 Elektroheizkörper, die aber unendlich langebrauchen um lau warmzuwerden. Fazit: perfekt für den Sonnerurlaub, wenn man viel unterwegs ist."

"Beautiful location, nice rooms with a view and great swimming pool, sauna etc. Let down slightly by lack of treatments in the spa, food options and hotel run activities. For the activities, they had a desk but it wasn’t manned by the company who ran them and the Ullensvang staff were unhelpful and dismissive about organising. Also oddly the kayaks themselves were stored at the hotel but couldn’t be rented. Dining options were very limited - the restauraunt switches to a buffet in high season...

"Stay in Voss at the end of a ski trip. Very convenient hotel. Right next to bus stop one side and train station the other side and a short walk down to the lake. Lovely evening meal, drinks and greak breakfast too. Comfortable rooms, good shower, airy and spacious lobby areas and a sunny balcony area too. Hard to fault in any regard. 10/10 from all 5 of us."
