"My family rented the King Estate Manor for a long weekend and found it to be a perfect spot for meeting up, breaking bread and getting a good night’s rest in between the busy-ness of wedding festivities.
The home is definitely “rustic” but very clean and comfortable. Two downstairs bedrooms and bath were perfect for our elderly parents; while the upstairs bedrooms and bath were perfect for us more limber adults.
We all agreed that the best room in the house was the quaint screened-in porch...
"Nice place to stay. Hotel very clean and the location is perfect on the scenic river. Only one concern though, the wifi did work, but it was very slow. I even went from the room to the lobby and dining room, but still was slow. I rely heavily on wifi in the evening for the nature of my trip. Overall though, a great place to stay. **The Blackhawk Pit across the parking lot is amazing!!** "
"Good bed. Clean room. Good breakfast. No coffee at the buffet in the morning one day. Refrigerator in the room had ice build up, There was a 6 inch slash in the stuffed chair arm in our room. Security light switch in the bathroom was out."
