Dinkins Bayou Hotels, Sanibel

"Rooms were very nice and clean, bed comfortable! View of beach from balcony was very nice! Convenient places to eat on property, rooftop restaurant was good for breakfast and price was very reasonable. Yo Tacos on the main level outdoors was delicious! Drinks at the bar main level outdoors was good too, as was the entertainment. Only caution would be that the weekend gets loud and packed, we checked in on Sat Feb 28 and it was very crowded and congested on the main level, and lots of drunks! Much better on Sunday and Monday after the heavy partiers left! Pool was wonderful, really enjoyed it! Would stay again, just not on the weekend! "

"We loved the resort, rooms were nice, beds comfortable. We loved all of the spots around the property to sit at in the sun and in the shade. Sunsets were beautiful! Pool was wonderful, we spent a couple of days enjoying it! Resort was decorated so cute - lots of flowers and cute items on the walls! Potted plants on top of the a/c units on the outside - nice touch! We would definitely stay again!"

"Some off the staff went out of their way to help me when the length of my stay was not certain due to my dad staying in the hospital. I appreciated the kindness and understanding they showed me. They left my check out date open until I knew the discharge date. I felt comfortable and safe at this hotel, even when i was alone. "

"Room was not serviced on second day as staff shoirtage. Floor was not cleaned well before arriving. Good breakfast at the bar"

"Beach view was not obstructed. I did not care for the screened in lanai but certain there is a reason they are screened in. Pool areas are spacious and clean."

"Good location before going into Sanibel Island to stay if you want to be close to there and the boat launch is right before the bridge as well. Rooms were clean. Its an older building, but overall was good for a few days. Staff was pleasant. "
