Pasture land, Dingestow With evidence of recent occupation by sheep. (It's still clinging to my boots). St. Dingat's Church sits North of the village. The buildings form part of the Bridge Farm holiday complex. Beyond is Mill Wood with its hidden motte. The yellowish trees are willows, close to the River Trothy. Note: Bridge Farm is named as Castle Farm on the map.

Earthworks, Dingestow During its construction in 1182, Dingestow Castle was attacked by the Welsh and is thought to have been abandoned as no stonework has been found. There are two enclosures surrounded by ditches and a stream on the western side. View is looking across the earthworks towards the village.

I was upgraded to the main hotel and it was fantastic. Clean room and bathroom. All the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic so much choice and freshly cooked. also the evening meal was great. And secure gated parking. 10/10
