Next to the bar, there's a large room with old wooden windows, offering good local beer at decent prices, but it lacks coziness despite its interesting interior. "This is a favourite stop-off point for us. Great beers on tap and lovely outside deck to enjoy them when the weather is sunny. Good varied breakfast but many items missing on this Friday we were here; fine on the Saturday. A kettle in the room would be welcome and a bathroom door that is much less noisy. Parking is sadly no longer free and we spent an hour vainly trying to load the App. Staff were very friendly. "

We didn’t feel like sleeping in the double bed during our stay because of this especially in the hot weather. It felt too stuffy and the person who ends up on the inside May feel slightly trapped. "Our check-in did not went well. No email of instructions was sent so we stuck at the door. (Owner show up and said payment had issue but he should have emailed me for that.) The property has a paint smell and one of us was sensitive to it. Also power went off at early morning."
