"Very friendly family service. Great location for beach - 2-3 min walk. Lots of great restaurants around, especially on beach. Next to road, so easy to get tuktuk. Comprehensive convenience shop 4 min walk. Lovely pool with outdoor shower. A/C kept room at nice temperature, with ceiling fan. Family room had two double beds and we had a cot, so family of five well-suited. Room cleaned every 3 days. "Malgré notre confirmation de réservation, une fois sur place nous n'avons pas été reçu. Cela avec plusieurs excuses différentes. La première excuse donnée à notre chauffeur, c'est qu'ils avaient reçu 11 personnes en dernière minutes donc plus de place de dispo. la suivante pour nous, c'est qu'il ne travaillait plus avec notre agences Expedia et la 3eme lorsqu'un agent de Hôtels a appelé, ils ont dit qu'ils étaient fermé à cause de la météo.... Nous ne recommdons pas ces menteurs!"

"This hotel was a highlight of our trip and easily our favourite in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. We were so impressed by the ocean-view rooms that we upgraded on the spot, and it made our stay even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit"

The resort needs a major investment in upkeep - from the towels and bedsheets, to a refurbishment of the bathrooms and pool. The staff was very friendly although a lot did not speak English and so there was some miscommunication. Overall the resort is situated extremely well, but needs some refurbishment."

"This is a good hotel situated right on the beach. The room had all the basic essentials. We stayed in a budget room. The walls were full of stains and the mosquito net smelled like it hadn't been washed in months. Budget should not mean the room is not maintained. We stayed 5 nights. The food was delicious, a bit overpriced for the serving size but we enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. Over all, a pleasant stay, helpful and friendly staff. "I stayed here for three days, and overall, it was fine. The property management was super nice and very helpful. The AC and hot water worked very well, and once I got the special wifi access reserved for staff, I had no problems with wifi. I had a solid view of the ocean, but I did discover that I could have rented a bungalow down on the beach for a little less than I paid at Sailors. This discovery was disappointing, but Sailors was still a solid accommodation. "
