"Fabulous boutique hotel, rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Food is excellent, we had breakfasts and an evening meal. Food was well prepared and presented by the Chef. All the staff are friendly and very respectful.

"Very friendly family service. Great location for beach - 2-3 min walk. Lots of great restaurants around, especially on beach. Next to road, so easy to get tuktuk. Comprehensive convenience shop 4 min walk. Lovely pool with outdoor shower. A/C kept room at nice temperature, with ceiling fan. Family room had two double beds and we had a cot, so family of five well-suited. Room cleaned every 3 days. Malee cooked us lovely hoppers, dal and sambal for breakfast, whilst the children loved fresh...

"The place is situated close by all the relevant beaches, especially Hiriketiya and Nilwella beach.
It is about 10-15 minutes to get to hiriketiya road where most of the shops/resturants are.
Its calm and tranquil at this place, away from the busy scene at hiriketiya road yet not to far to get there when you want.
Space to park if u have tuk tuk, scooter etc. The rooms are cozy and clean. Some good restaurants very close by.

"Malgré notre confirmation de réservation, une fois sur place nous n'avons pas été reçu. Cela avec plusieurs excuses différentes. La première excuse donnée à notre chauffeur, c'est qu'ils avaient reçu 11 personnes en dernière minutes donc plus de place de dispo. la suivante pour nous, c'est qu'il ne travaillait plus avec notre agences Expedia et la 3eme lorsqu'un agent de Hôtels a appelé, ils ont dit qu'ils étaient fermé à cause de la météo.... Nous ne recommdons pas ces menteurs!"

The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. "We booked the most expensive room which cost a fortune. When we arrived the room was occupied as they had sold it twice. They put us in the cheapest room with noisy air conditioning and no lock on the patio door. Blaned Hotels.com and offered no compensation or even a courtesy something. "

"I absolutely loved my stay at Mandara and I will be back soon for sure. The staff were very friendly and special thanks to the Priyankara and bar staff, Lalit, Sampath and the pool staff and the lady who checked me in at the reception. I will for sure recommend many people in the UK to stay in the hotel.
