Hidden Gem

We loved Gram’s Getaway! It was clean and well maintained. The kitchen isn’t huge but has everything you need. It is all recently upgraded with new floors, bathrooms, and furniture but it keeps the charm with some of Gram’s things. Check-in/out instructions were easy and nothing ridiculous. We absolutely adored it!

Wonderful rental!

The house is beautiful! It's very comfortable and has a lot of space. We loved watching the cows! This is a remote property, but that only adds to it's charm. The property hosts were exceptional! They were very responsive and kind. While we were there, a the power went out and they contacted us and let us know when the power would be back on. Again, this is a remote property and we were there in April when they have storms. There is no internet at this house, but we have Verizon phones and we were able to get decent enough service with them that we could access what we needed to while there. We loved our stay at this place and would highly recommend it!!

Great place!

We loved it here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the city life. The house was impeccably clean and very spacious. Make sure you visit Sulphur Springs! They have great dining and shopping!

Perfect weekend getaway.

Gran's Getaway is so pretty. The house is bright, quiet, clean, and well stocked with games and kitchen basics. The setting around the house is picturesque. The host has made an inviting space perfect for a getaway. And the house has a sweet story behind the name. A wonderful way to honor the host's gran.

Amazing Country Home!

Best little hide away!! You feel like never left home. They have thought of everything. From a pack n play, box fans, coffee, games for kids, to extra snuggle blankets. The house is a home. The beds are so beyond comfortable. This was our second stay and we can’t wait to come again. Perfect for our big family.

Peaceful Retreat!

This is an excellent, country retreat! We enjoyed the decor and the pool table. The view of the pasture and trees was relaxing. When we had questions our host was prompt to get back to us. Her friendliness was refreshing! The king size bed we used was very comfortable. (We didn’t use the others.)The kitchen was well stocked with pans and dishes. The blueberry muffins to welcome us was so kind!!! We visited Sulpher Springs and Mt. Vernon. Both are historical towns about 20 minutes away. We are hoping to come back!!!

This is the place!

What a great place with a great story! I thoroughly enjoyed not having WiFi. Forced me to just relax when I got back in instead of working. Beds were great, couch was AMAZING, home was very clean, and the muffins... judging by the reviews a different goody is left each time so I imagine everything is amazing. I need them to offer a baked goods menu to order from! I'd buy em all! Great communication and just a quiet place to enjoy! A quick drive to Sulphur Springs. And try the Sulphur Bluff General Store 2 miles away, great breakfast!
