"We stayed at the Regent Star overnight for a layover and we had a very pleasant experience. The shuttle to the from the airport was very convenient, the breakfast was good, and they allowed us a late checkout which was wonderful. The bed was a little firmer than we like, but we had a good night of rest. We’d definitely stay here again!"

"It was a great cabin with an amazing view. If you are looking for a semi-secluded getaway away (it is still fairly close to beaches and the city), this is a great choice. My only gripes are some deferred maintenance issues (not too bad) and that it was advertised as a two bedroom. It is a one bedroom with a lofted area that consisted of a mattress on the floor. I don’t think that it was very useful. The roads up to the cabin can be steep and challenging, but very doable. The communication with the owner/manager was great. He met us for an early h cg coming with no issues. Overall, it was a great experience that I would recommend. But understand it is more for an escape. You will not want to keep going up and down the mountains for food, etc. "
