Agreed, it began with a chaotic start but we moved mountains to turn it around and the Ramos family chose to extend there check out 3 hours to make up for the time it took us to finish and never requested any type of refund. We had endured a week straight of heavy rain on the property and then were hit with some major equipment malfunctions which dominoe delayed everything so I was not happy about still having to scramble to finish while the family had arrived. Luckily these were all outdoor issues and the house was complete and ready when they arrived. As for the lack of amenities he would be referencing the lack of propain in the pool house kitchen, this was not brought to my attention until after the weekend was over and if I would have had any awareness that would have been an instant fix with back up tanks stored on the property. Also, I do not keep the hot tub heated during the summer time and upon request it can be heated in a couple hour's. No request was ever given and instead they chose to enter the pump house and figure it out themselves. Several hours later I learned they engaged the backwash pump and drained over half of the swimming pool into my backyard. It's takes days to fill the pool so it would be fair to say that the hot tub would not become available during their stay. I spoke with them frequently throughout both days of their stay and neither of these issues were brought to my attention by the Ramos's. My groundskeeper, (I am the property manager) is available to assist renters with certain things when he is onsite but he is not required to remain on site to do so.
