With people living and walking around upstairs, the "white noise" machine worked wonders while trying to sleep.One negative, Being in the basement is already the coolest portion of the home, but when the residents upstairs like their rooms cool, it sure makes the basement that much colder. Nothing a good wrap around blanket can't fix."

"Its an old flip. For hastings its fine, better than a hotel. The family across the street kept having verbal disputes. The floors are suspect. The place felt/smelled damp. "

"We traveled to Hastings for a family wedding. This house was a great gathering place for the entire family before and after the festivities. Centrally located with plenty of space and yard. Would definitely rent again."

"From the pictures, the house appeared older but clean, which I was fine with. However, when I arrived, the experience was quite different. The first sign was when I used a washcloth and noticed makeup stains still on it.The final straw was when I took a shower and grabbed a towel, only to find it was dirty. My adult child staying with me also mentioned the sheets looked stained, and when I checked, I was honestly horrified. At that point, I contacted management.On top of that, the house has some serious maintenance issues: the paint is chipping off the cabinets from a poor paint job, the flooring is buckling, and the lighting throughout the home is extremely dim—even with all the lights on, it felt dark at night. The windows were broken. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the management was responsiveUnfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again unless there are significant improvements in both cleanliness and upkeep."
