"Clean, comfortable, quiet. Comfortable beds, pillows could be larger and firmer for my preference, but still comfortable. Spacious bathroom with sufficient counter space. Lobby is welcoming and pleasant, and breakfast is better than chain hotels--in particular, the ready-to-make Belgian waffles were excellent. Would stay here again when I return to Escalante in the future. Great home base for Grand Staircase National Monument area. "
"We stayed here as a home base for hiking in Bryce and the Grand Staircase. The area is so unique and the people were incredibly kind! The history of the house add a whole other element of intrigue of the area!!! We will be back!"
"This is a great place to stay if you're passing through to visit the Big 5 National parks. The only downside , Check in was a bit frustrating as there was no one to greet us and no instructions on how to get into our room. Good thing a staff member did show up eventually. And good thing we didn't enter the room I booked as there was another guest in it. Other than the frustrating check in process, the property was great for our needs. It's easy to find, right in town. Felt safe. We used the firepit and star gazed at night. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was made while you sit and enjoy good coffee and tea. There are cute western decor in the restaurant. "
"Cute little cabin in a coutyard of cabins and tent sites. View of mountain over the fence. Close by immaculate restroom/shower/laundry building. Convenient to all the Escalante trails and walking distance to the 4th West pub! Easy in and out to Scenic hy 12. One of the USA best scenic drives between Esc' and Boulder! **Tent campers might/will hear people walking on the gravel to the bathroom."
"Cute coffee bar, clean and cute room-comfortable bed. Liked the patio in rear of the nuilding with table and chairs and a grill available. Would be great for a family reunion to all stay at the same place yet have separate bedrroms and bathrooms... could hang out in rear patio."
"This place is incredible! If you are traveling with children, this is a must stay. Everything is catered to families and it makes it a wonderful stop. Escalante has great hikes — don’t miss Lower Calf Creek and the Petrified Forest — and a great rock shop. The bathrooms at Ofland were lovely, spa-like; the rooms extremely comfortable (except for the hard pillows); free coffee and snacks in the morning was very appreciated; and the food truck was off the chain delicious."
