"Microtel stay in Rice Lake covered all the bases. Clerk at the check in counter was courteous, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and lived up to expectations. Amenities were fine and complimentary breakfast was what I expected. Checkout was done online so it was smooth and quick.Only drawback was walls a bit thin. Could hear music from next door and pacing from upstairs. Otherwise for the money, it was a worthwhile stay"

"It’s a very nice hotel for the price. It could use a little updating in the rooms. It’s clean, friendly employees, great location. A restaurant in the parking lot, another right next door and one down the block. Joust a couple of miles from the downtown area. Pool and Hot tub were nice."

"Beautiful setting for family gatherings. Travelled with adult children and young grandchildren. Breathtaking views of lake and sunsets. Quiet retreat. Great fun fishing for all especially kids. Comfortable and well appointed property. Host was very responsive and communicated well."

"This place is absolutely wonderful! It has everything that we were looking for in a family get away. Swimming, boating, fishing, arcade gaming, grilling, card games at the kitchen table, and a pool table! It is nice and secluded for privacy. Yet has a beautiful view of the lake from the kitchen table and is convenient to town. The host was very accommodating. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The only thing that could have been better is the refrigerator wasn't clean. I'm guessing that it was just an oversight because the rest of the place was very clean."
