"The hotel was under construction on certain floors. To get to our room we had to take an elevator a floor up. Then carry our luggage down the stairs. Our AC in our first room was broken. There was cardboard covering the hallway floor where there were rooms being redone. And we were not made aware of any of this happening when we made the reservation."

"I just need to get your attention. I booked this online the end of March. It was supposed to be for April 1. I did not. Get a refund if it didn’t work out. When I booked the room I got an email that it was for April 13. I needed it April 1. I spoke to a man at Expedia that same day. He said he couldn’t get a hold of anyone at your hotel and someone would email me in 24 to 78 hours and I never heard from anyone about this. I lost $100 because you changed the date of my arrival and I will never ever use you again or recommend you to anyone."

"Excellent Staff, very cool and historical building. The bed wasnt the most comfortable, but that can be subjective. The location is perfect to walk the river and enjoy the scenery. We even saw a dolphin in the river, which was really neat and unexpected. Would highly recommend staying here! Try Bootleggers, if you do!!!"

"We stayed for a few days and I was very happy with this hotel. I will be staying again. The hotel was very clean, they offered valet at a reasonable price, and the staff was very professional. They also had a small laundry room which I used and had a great experience with. The location is great as well, within walking distance to several cool locations in Savannah. "

"The room was clean and the front desk representatives were nice. However, the room was expensive and we paid more for access to a courtyard and view only for the door to be stuck and unable to open so we couldn't enjoy that. The shower in the room also clogged. We paid more for valet parking as well as and the valet staff never sent me a text or gave me a ticket. They also misplaced my key so I was very worried the whole night. They fortunately found it and we left asap the next morning. For the price, I was very disappointed. There are more professional places nearby with a lower price point."

"The high reviews are either fake or over inflated. The entire hotel is filthy, the hallways have holes under the carpet that you can feel while walking and stains EVERYWHERE. The room was no better, layers of what looks like grease, oil, body liquids, and dirt on the walls, stains on all the furniture and fabrics, carpet held in place by staples that are sticking out and can cut you. My 6 year old even found a partially empty bottle of Jack Daniel's in the pull out couch. Not only will I never be using this hotel again, I'd never recommend it to anyone and honestly I'd suggest it get a thorough inspection. I've stayed at a LOT of hotels all over the country, this was by far the worst."
