"Staff was very helpful during check-in,especially since we needed to use a kiosk. Staff also helped us order taxis. Room was pretty good size for Japan properties. There was no closet but there were hooks and hangers available. I don't like the maids to come in daily so it was good that we could exchange towels by placing a basket with the towels in the morning. Upon our return from outings, the basket would be filled with clean towels, wrapped in a plastic bag."

"Great location, plenty of shops across the street and adjacent to this hotel. Smaller room was clean and organized but had a comfortable double bed. Bathroom was functional but basic. Only stayed one night at a reasonable rate. All staff were professional and courteous. Starbucks next door for added convenience, too. Would recommend for a short stay "

"it is very homey. i love the surroundings, quite and peaceful and staff is very kind. we had the room with the onsen for 3 nights and we love it. it is quite big for regular size onsen. it is wooden and is very clean, they put an aroma scent to make it more relaxing. while sitting at the veranda with your hot green tea, overlooking at the pink cherry blossom tree. my kids and i are all tempted to walk down to the community park to take a picture of the flowers. it was the most beautiful sakura...

"The Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo is conveniently located to many of the transportation options in Tokyo. It was easy to get around from this central base. The room was clean, staff was great, and the breakfast buffet had wonderful choices. The one glitch was the working of the air conditioning upon arrival. The staff worked on it and it got working but it was very warm for a bit upon arrival."

"Great location close to many must-see sights in Shinjuku, a very popular area of Tokyo. Clean, quiet, modern hotel, great breakfast. Right beside Shinjuku Station, largest train station in the world, for easy, efficient transportation to anywhere in Tokyo."

"Please don’t have any high expectations since everything is at basic levels. I think that is standard of Tokyo. Room is small, furnitures are super basic, wash room is okay. Not sure from when a HOTEL can be that shabby. You got what you paid for. Location is very good, shopping, transportation, and dining options are fine."
