"We have nothing but positive things to say about this lovely little hotel. Best hotel experience in a while! Whilst staying in Carcassonne celebrating my husbands 60th, I decided we’d stay at La Reserve after visiting Albi for the day, as a surprise, with a table booked in the restaurant that evening. The hotel is five minutes outside Albi, a little gem once through those gates. The location on the banks of the River Tarn, the beautiful spacious rooms, with a little balcony overlooking the gardens and river. Choice of a separate bath or walk in shower. Beds were spacious and so comfortable, slept well. We went down to the pool for a couple hours, had a couple drinks, rested up and then had the most fabulous meal in the restaurant. This was finished with wine in the gazebo by the pool, an end to a great night. Every staff member we met were kind, friendly, professional, interested, interacted naturally, nothing felt forced. We were sorry to leave and wished we had booked a second night!"
