"Staff was very nice - room was clean - but NOT the bathroom- a dog down the hall was barking incessantly - with that being said it wasn’t that bad considering all the other places that were way more expensive for a quick trip to see our boys at Virginia Tech- Would actually stay there again"

"Things were broken, towels had stains, had to go to the quality in next door for the front desk, weeds grown up to my knees outside, hair dryer was broken, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke, but besides all that it was actually good. At least it’s a safe area, has comfortable beds, and was cheap. Really didn’t need much more than a good and cheap place to sleep so I was satisfied."

"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."

"We highly recommend booking a stay. The cottage was extremely welcoming and clean. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed playing the provided games. The bathhouse wasn’t a far walk and was very clean. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back! Pet friendly as well, loved bringing my dog!"
