This spot is ideal if you’re looking for a comfortable place to wind down at night while spending your days out exploring the island. Red Hook harbor is about a 30‑minute drive, and several beautiful beaches are within 20 minutes. We also appreciated the included beach chairs, since rentals can add up quickly. "This was a nice place to stay. One caveat to future people that stay. Make sure your card has good clearance and is able to go up a steep hill without issues. We had a Toyota Camry rental car and it had a little trouble. This has nothing to with the quality of the stay. Just make sure you have Jeep, Rav4, or something that is good on hills. "Villa Ithaca was beautiful, clean and close to all the places we visited in St. Thomas. The views were spectacular! We really enjoyed our stay there and we would come back again. "

"I didn’t even stay because I was chased off of the property by the owner with a knife in his hand! There was no signage stating it was a vacation rental property and was difficult to find to begin with. After I was chased off of the property I requested a refund because I didn’t feel safe staying there and the owners said it was a “miscommunication.” I’m a 5’4” very pregnant woman and he should have expected an unfamiliar face on the property because it’s listed as a vacation rental."
