Top Nicaragua Hotel Reviews

Airport X Managua Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean, the AC worked great, the staff was very accommodating, the shuttle was on time and efficient, everything went according to plan; even the hot water in the shower. Thank you all for another great stay!"

"Airport shuttle, friendly staff"

Holiday Inn Express Managua by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The best place to stay when looking for a clean, comfortable and safe place when traveling through Managua. We stayed here twice when flying in and out of town and it was perfect."

Hotel Contempo
4/10 Poor
"I would not stay here again. On the day of my check-in, around midnight, the hotel informed me that they had no room available for me. I was already getting ready to leave for my flight when I received the message, and I ended up flying to Nicaragua without knowing where I would be staying that night. This was especially frustrating since I had made my reservation back in December for a wedding.
Eventually, the hotel was able to accommodate me by the time I arrived, but only because someone from the wedding advocated on my behalf. Without that, it felt like the hotel was prepared to leave me without a place to stay. When I arrived at 2:30 pm, my room was still not ready, and there was no apology for the stress they caused during my travel. They offered a “complimentary” welcome drink, which was already included with my Expedia reservation.
The amenities are very outdated. The spa experience was poor and felt unprofessional. Music was played from a phone, and they didn’t even have Spotify Premium—advertisements interrupted the massage. I could also hear staff chatting loudly outside the room.
That said, the massage itself was good. Kudos to the masseuse, who clearly did her best. The issue is with the hotel for not providing the proper environment or resources for their staff.
Overall, after all the stress leading up to the trip, the stay was not worth it."

Hotel Globales Camino Real Managua

"Clean room, comfortable beds and pillows great staff"

Costa Oeste
8/10 Good
"Excellent views! The property is on beautiful Popoyo Beach. "

Barceló Montelimar - All Inclusive
4/10 Poor
"The staff was amazing. Nicaraguans are so friendly, attentive, and full of life. The room was in poor condition: the shower head fell off, the towels were frayed, the refrigerator was leaking and full of sand, the top sheet on the bed felt like paper. The bed was on roller. If you didn’t jump unto it, you might fall to the floor. There was no remote for the air conditioner. It was freezing. The drying rack on the porch broke off. THE FOOD WAS ALMOST INEDIBLE. I ate gallopinto (rice and beans) and cold bread with butter for most meals. The food at the pool was worse. The main food area/bar had slippery tiled floors. "
