"The hotel rooms are totally quiet although the hotel is situated close to A12 and Europalaan. Parking was cost-free in a closed parking lot! We used our bikes to reach Utrecht downtown via a convenient 15min drive but there is also a bus connection. Price-performance ratio was good. Hotel furnishing & style are very similar to other Bastion hotels. Personnel very friendly."

"Property was clean, quiet, well kept. The area wasn’t what we expected. It was a bit of a hike to the centre of town (with kids). The area where the hotel is located is very middle eastern. Don’t want to sound rude but we felt like we were out of place and not in the Netherlands. Wouldn’t recommend solely based on location. "

"On our first night of the stay, the sink was clogged and unusable, and the air conditioner was so weak. Also the toilet is completely different to the photo advertised from the website, looks like a scam. However the food for dinner and breakfast were really delicious. Breakfast items can sometimes be a bit dry from being left out. The fruit was also old but other than that it’s a fine stay and very convenient for getting on the motorway. "

"My wife and I visited Amsterdam over the Easter weekend, but we weren't convinced by any Amsterdam hotel, so we decided to book a hotel in Utrecht and take the train from there (cheap, fast and every few minutes). Entirely by accident, I've booked this hotel which isn't even in Utrecht, but at about 8 miles (15km) away. It's a gem! Clean, quiet with a million amenities and options, super safe parking (even for a motorcycle) and easy access to the motorway. I'm sure we'll go again sometimes."

"Nice place at the water. If you have things you need to do, this is a nice place to stay. Service is not constant. We left early every morning for an event. 1 day there was no breakfast prepared for us. 2 day, excellent breakfast was prepared. 3 day, terrible breakfast was prepared. Resturang food is just okay, I would say there is other mich nicer places around. Beautiful place to have drinks, staff super friendly. We would come back again. "
