"We loved our room we loved the staff who were so welcoming. We just loved everything about this hotel."

"Super clean room, renovated bathroom—light and bright, comfy beds. My son and I really enjoyed Dino Beach pool and waterslide; clean, fun, and the water wasn’t freezing cold. (Also plenty of pool towels—unlike our last hotel.) We ate a late dinner in the restaurant and the waiter was excellent, food delicious. We will definitely stay there again!"

"We were disappointed by the level of noise at this hotel. We were assigned an inside ground floor room (no windows so no natural daylight). You can easily hear noise in the hallway through and underneath the door and through the thin floorboard above the room. There were kids in the room above who were running around well past midnight every night. On a positive, the Aaltos restaurant is convenient with a great buffet and soup/salad bar for lunch. Although we didn't use the pool and waterside, it's a decent facility and great for kids. Lots of convenient stores (grocery, Pharmasave dollarstore) within walking distance. There is also a great dinner theatre tha unfortunately we weren't able to take advantage of due to timing. "

"Our overall stay was good. There is ample parking. We stayed on the 15th floor and the carpets were fairly dirty (crumbs or food noted) outside the rooms, but inside was fine. Convenient location that requires hotel key to enter the building, which is nice! Due to it being downtown there are lots of emergency vehicles driving by with sirens frequently (4 times on one night, but that’s just how it is downtown in big cities). The ALT hotel bathrooms are always a little unique (not good counter space, odd sinks and toilets, and shower doors that don’t really contain the water inside the shower), but they serve their purpose fine. "

"Hotel and staff were great! Only disappointment was that their website shows photos of a hot tub which has since been removed so that needs to be updated as we specifically looked for a hotel with a hot tub. "

"Pretty sketchy building, very loud neighbours. Poor security. Wouldn’t bring a young family here."
