Dirty bed linen and insufficient towels or water to cater for the number of booked guests. Breakfast was exceptional as were the breakfast staff. Wait staff in the pool deck were often hard to find. Lovated right by the Buddhist Holy site, TheTemple of Tooth and the ancient lake, it is also very close for shopping as well Unlike many hotels in Kandy built on the mountain sides that require uphill downhill walksor TukTuks, Queens Hotel is right in the city. Only thing not to do is walking in the evening around the lake since all the birds in the world come to roost on trees around the lake. If you want to do a walk, go to the opposite side of the lake where paths are way from tree line. "
