"We stayed one night for a wedding in neighboring Humboldt. The location is remote, but not so far off the beaten path that it's hard to get out and about. We showed up to a homemade coffee cake and casserole for breakfast and a basket of snacks as well, which was unexpected and so nice! Drinks and fruit were in the fridge, too! We watched a movie and played cards that night. The size of the place was perfect for 4 adults. Nice upgrades to the bathroom, including nice linens. Everything was clean...

"Last year I stayed in the corn crib on this property. This year I am in the cottage. Both have their pros and cons, but overall the property is gorgeous, serene, and everything I could hope for in a peaceful getaway. Love that I could bring my pets - so much countryside to roam and enjoy! Great communication with owner. Will definitely be back next year!"
