We felt instantly relaxed and welcomed upon arrival. The grounds and pool are beautiful. Room was spacious and immaculate, we loved the variety of loose leaf teas in our room and delicious homemade biscuits that were replenished. The staff were the most attentive in our whole time in Sri Lanka. Things like coming with umbrellas on arrival to our car so we didn’t get wet, guiding us with a light to and from the dining area to our room each night, speaking to us about our travels and offering to...

Wonderful hotel with the most kind and helpful staff. Beautiful location, clean and tidy rooms and space and the pool was lush. We had a great stay here with my son, husband and sister in law. Definitely recommend and hope to come back one day. The hotel were also extremely accomodating with a mix up that I made with the booking. They went above and beyond to help.

Excellent staff and food. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. One of the bedt hotels i have stayed.

Shehan, his wife and young son make Saubagya Inn an excellent choice for a stay at Anuradhapura. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the bathroom good and the a/c worked well in the hot weather when I stayed. The Guesthouse was about around 40 years ago and with a large, covered veranda makes for very relaxing ‘down time’. Shehan speaks good English and is trained and trains in hospitality. Shehan also gave me some excellent advice on how best to tackle the large, formidable Ancient...

Stunning! The hotel is situated on a beautiful site overlooking a lake. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. So romantic to watch an evening thunderstorm from out balcony. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Awesome place and friend staff value for money, great food

Absolutely perfect. I could not have found a better host anywhere. The room is clean and lovely. The garden is beautiful. The breakfast are just delicious. Mother is a really good cook and I had the best vegetable roll and potato and egg samosa i have tried anywhere. The host made us so welcome and helped us with everything. He did all the hard work for us! The driver is lovely too. I feel privileged to stay here and regret I cannot stay longer

I loved the onsite Loris walk at night. The staff were also very friendly.

We stayed here for 3 nights and although quite away out from Dambulla this did not give us a worry as the facilities, pool and meals were all you could ask for. We had some issues with our TV and the air-conditioning which were rectified immediately.

Dambulla cave Beautiful

The view from the infinity pool was magnificent- could see across the valley, horses grazing - and the back drop of the hills. Buffet dinner was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Rooms were spacious and we had interconnecting room with our teenage children

The family that run the accomodation were very nice people. Very helpful & accomodating. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka. The string hoppers & potato curry were fantastic. The pool was quite handy in front of our room, especially after a humid day. I would stay here again for sure.
