"Stay away! It was the worst experience of my whole stay in Sri Lanka. I booked that hotel for 1 night. I noticed that they have a policy for late check in (after 9pm) so on the way I tried to contact them because I was afraid if I will be able to get over there on time. Me and my driver called them several times for hours before my arrival without any result. Finally we got over there about 8:30 pm but there was nobody there and all seemed like closed. "We came to Sinharaja NP and as nature lovers, we hoped to experience the primary rain forest and the unique birdlife. "Spice House Hotel. It’s a charming place, styled like an old British bungalow, right across from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. The location is beautiful, with lovely views, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They offer a great breakfast included in your stay, and the internet is high-speed. Just one key thing to note: they only accept cash payments, even if you booked online through a site like Hotels.com. So be prepared with cash when you leave."

The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. "We loved our time at coast 67. Beautiful property, looks exactly like the pictures! We loved the pool and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they helped arrange all of our rides for us. The food was really good as well, our dinner there was one of the best meals we had our whole trip. I would definitely stay here again!"
