"There wasn't a lot wrong that I could say about the Gran Hotel Los Abetos. It was fabulous from start to finish. The check-in experience was excellent. Very quick and efficient. The staff were lovely and very attentive and the amenities were great.
The only thing I would mention, and it's minor, is that some of the poolside furniture and mattress covers for the loungers looked a bit tired looking and could do with a good wash. The pool itself was excellent, with great depth that allowed for a good swim.
Really, we were sorry to leave; had we known how wonderful the hotel was we would have stayed there for our entire four-day trip.
An added bonus was the hotel's excellent shuttle bus service into Santiago. If you wanted to stay later than the last bus back at 20:05, a taxi was around €10.00 which was very reasonable. All taxis took card payments so you weren't caught needing cash.
An overall wonderful experience; we would definitely stay there again if we return, which we definitely will. Santiago was amazing."
