It took us a bit of time to find the hotel as our GPS took us from behind and the entrance of the hotel facing at a corner direction which is quite hard to find. The breakfast was quite good, croissants, eggs, hams, yoghurt and a few other stuffs. It is not close to the city centre, we used the hotel’s parking for 9euro per night. The only thing I would suggest the hotel to upgrade it’s the hair dryer, it’s so weak to the point that there’s hardly any air blowing even on it’s strongest mode,...

The Forges Hotel is a modern building set on the edge of large grounds, which include a lake-side bar, band-stand and summer lounges, as well as facilities for a range of sports. On the other side of the hotel, but part of the same large complex, is a casino which we were not interested in. Our room was large and very well appointed. So too was the bathroom. We appreciated the tea/coffee making facilities and the toiletries. There is a heated indoor pool and a fitness room for guests to use....

A lovely hotel with superb service.
Only negatives are the fact that it is now undergoing an 8 year refurbishment and minor maintainance has clearly been forgotten while these major works are going on....Oh and the price of eating there is prohibitive.

This was a great choice of hotel. It is well situated along side the river, and just an easy walk to the cathedral and other sights. It is spacious with comfortable beds, and a kitchenette to make mealtimes easy. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, and importance is placed on caring for the environment. I'd happily stay here again.

The hotel was very easy to find and the check in super easy. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was great to have a restaurant attached and the service and meal provided a pleasant experience. There was a super huge Le Clerc across the road from the hotel - very convenient.

Had trouble finding this place with the main entrance at the back of the block. Good continental breakfast can be had for 10 euros. Good room facilities though fridge never got cool. Separate toilet from clean and fresh bathroom. No aircon but heater and fan in room.
