"Very nice hotel highly recommended "

"Das Zimmer war geräumig, aber extrem kalt. Wie wir am nächsten Tag herausfanden, gab es im ganzen Haus Probleme mit der Heizung. Es ist sehr enttäuschend, dass man nicht proaktiv darüber informiert wurde. Zusatzdecken mussten wir anfragen, wir wurden nicht selbstständig zusätzlich ausgerüstet. Ausserdem war die Fensterschliessung in unserem Zimmer defekt, die Fenster und der Balkonzugang dichteten nicht gut ab, was zusätzlich sehr kalt machte. Für den bezahlten Preis wäre wirklich eine bessere...

"Great spot to explore the amazing Swiss mountains of the valais! Owner aneliese is very nice and a great host. We loved the quiet traditional Swiss village setting and the amazing views. Would definitely recommend chalet alpenrose! Perfect location to explore zermatt and the matterhorn, the aletsch arena and all the rest of the amazing valais!"

"Wat een super verblijf. Alles aanwezig en zeer schoon en netjes. Contact met de eigenaar geweldig. Veel mogelijkheden om uitstapjes te doen als wandelen en fietsen. Leuk klein dorpje, dorpswinkel tegenover het verblijf. Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad."

""Romantic chalet bijou" is a perfect description: this is an ideal place if you're looking for somewhere quiet and "off the beaten track". Very clean and well equipped (the only thing missing was an iron, but we're happy not to iron our clothes!), and the terrace is lovely. A lovely base for exploring the upper Valais region."

"Wooden floors and cozy rooms, nice balcony, great modern/old chalet mix, very nice owners who took care of our luggage as well, ski in ski out location (even to the gondola down at the end of our weekend), and hearty breakfast with mountain views! Highly recommend!"

Tucked away in a little town in the Valais region, the views of the Alps were amazing, the people friendly, and the location great for day trips around the entire region. The narrow, winding road to get to the chalet was part of its charm for us. Miles of well marked walking paths were literally right outside our front door. The space was comfortable and welcoming. "Ruim appartement gelegen op 500m van het tussenstation naar Riederalp met prachtig zicht op de bergen. Heel netjes en verzorgd. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars. Zeer rustig dorp. Er is een superette en een restaurant."
