Viscri 125

Bunesti

10/10 Excellent

This is a special place, not to be missed. In the beautiful traditional town of Viscri the hotel is warm and inviting. The staff are lovely, asking us what we’d like all the time and doing everything they could to make us feel comfortable. Food was very tasty, and the hotel owner took us on a guided walk through the forest behind the hotel. There is so much space to relax, and for kids to play in the garden. Highly recommended.

Kronwell Brasov Hotel

Centrul Nou

10/10 Excellent

This hotel is world-class. Travelled all the way from Australia and were looked after as if we were family! John who drove us to Bran Castle is a brilliant and humerus guide. He's also just one of a team of outstanding customer-focused staff. My wife enjoyed the day spa and would have gone everyday if we'd had the time. Many people would see the location next to the station as a downside but it really didn't matter. We came in by train (Romania's roads are very slow- train slow bit still best...

Casa Veche

8/10 Good

No parking near by, a number of the cars in the street had flat tyres and looked like they hadn’t moved in a while. No reception to check in, you need a mobile phone to call a number posted on the wall outside the entrance door. Easy walking into down town and up the hill with the Braşov sign. Bathroom layout not great- your legs hug the bin when you use the toilet, shower wasn’t cleaned properly after last guest. Otherwise well decorated, cozy, bathrobes a nice touch. Given difficulty parking I...
