"The good: the hotel is very clean, very well maintained, offers a great pool and even greater views of the Ionian sea. Staff are extraordinarily nice, helpful, and intent on making sure you have a pleasant stay. The atmosphere is extremely laid back and relaxing.
The not-so-good: contrary to what is advertised, there is neither a gym (not at the hotel, not nearby) nor a shuttle. What they mean by ''shuttle service'' is the hotel taking care of calling a taxi on your behalf. You still have to pay for it -- and it is very pricey: 80 EUR just to get back into town / the port / the airport, as the location is quite remote. This constitutes, at the very least, highly misleading advertising.
At the same time, it doesn't take away from the hotel's strengths. If one is aware of the couple of issues just listed and doesn't mind, then this is a strongly recommended stay!"
