Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"Our safe didn't work. Maintenance didn't fix it. The food is a hit or miss. Alot of things were over done. Our room attendant kept our room immaculate. The entertainment was exciting. I looked forward to my 12pm water exercise every day and the many water sports. The show were great. I just found that alot of the activities online wasn't available. on site. Overall I had a great experience."

"The room was neat clean, bathroom clean spacious, AC works well. My only problem was the TV,but the workers were very helpful,a big thanks to the young lady that came to assist with my room service she was very patient in regards to help with the TV and also the young man who also assist.and the staff are very caring.i wasn't feeling well in the night and I have to leave in the night ,when I go back to check out the receptionist was very polite and show concern.so again I just want to say thank you very much your hospitality was appreciated.keep up the good work,I will definitely stayed at Ocean View hotel in Ocho Rios again. Thanks PJohnson"

"While I was initially a bit apprehensive when arriving at the location, the exceptionally welcoming and friendly staff immediately put me at ease. The hotel itself is older and could use some updates, but the outstanding customer service more than made up for it. Having a breakfast option included was also a very good touch; while the menu didn't quite catch the kids' interest, it was still a major plus not having to worry about finding a morning meal. For a short-term stay, it fits the bill, it's clean, provides a comfortable place to rest your head for the night, and features a convenient location right near the main road."

Fisherman's Point Resort

"I appreciated that the property is gated and guarded 24/7, and the check-in process was very fast. The location is perfect, being situated directly behind Ocho Rios beach and across from Island Village and Main Street. I also enjoyed the pool, which was clean and never crowded. Staying here allowed me to connect with the local culture and meet some wonderful people. However, there were a few issues with the room. The microwave did not work and the AC did not get cold. While we made it work using the ceiling fans and balcony doors, these are areas that need attention. Please also note that as an older resort, the lack of elevators, in-room phones, and fitness amenities may be a consideration for other guests. The front desk staff was always available and helpful. I believe Fisherman's Point Resort could be a 10/10 experience with some upgrades to the facilities and appliances."
