"EXCELLENT STAFF!!!"

"The good: - The location in the middle of the island is ideal. The surrounding beaches are spectacular. However, access to the nearest beach requires walking through another property across the street. - There were plenty of towels and lots of beach gear provided.- The kitchenette was great for prepping small meals and snacks for the toddler in our group.- The owner was very responsive. The power went out a couple of times because of island-wide blackouts and we locked ourselves out once. We received immediate responses whenever we reached out.Room for improvement:- The pictures seem a bit dated. Though the space was clean, there is significantly more wear and weathering on all the furnishings. We also had a heavy rain during our stay and there was a puddle of water on the floor in both bedrooms. - The internet was not very reliable. And we had no cell service in the house.- While insects are expected in this setting, it would have been nice to have a zapper or swatter to get rid of flies and mosquitoes when we settled in for the night. We were covered in bites after just 3 days. There also appeared to be some sort of seasonal infestation of termites because of the rain. There were dozens of them in both rooms. It was very unnerving at night."

"I had a great stay at the cottage. It was peaceful to be on the water and is right by the beach. I saw two large pufferfish literally frolicking in the water one morning for about 20 minutes. There are a lot of birds and a beautiful kingfisher landed on the balcony when I was sitting there. It is a perfect cottage for one or two people and very quiet and serene and safe for a solo female traveler."

"From check in to check out everything was great! My snorkel broke day one, they had a few available to use! Beach chairs, umbrella, everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. 3 minute walk to the beach across the street. Tiffany, Robert, Deja, Casey, and all the rest were so accommodating. "Eleuthera, it's not for everyone" Well, it's for us and we will be back for sure! "

"The room was clean and well stocked. It is across from the beach with a beautiful pool that is well maintained. I loved that it had a full size refrigerator, stove, dish washer, washer and dryer and the other items you would need in a kitchen along with a coffee maker and coffee! It is walking distance from the grocery store, some restaurants and the liquor store. We stayed another night we liked it so well. Great location for day trips to other parts of Eleuthera!"

"Awesome stay at Shorebreak cottage. You cant beat the views and the vibe. Total relaxation in a rustic yet comfortable cottage with all the amenities. We werent able to swim or hang on the beach due to the waves but still enjoyed hanging at the cottage vs driving to other beaches in the area but there are many options. Mark was a great host and provided a treasure trove of recommendations. "
