"It has the potential to be fantastic. No WiFi in guest rooms. I had 3 rooms for my family, none could access WiFi in their rooms. WiFi only in the lobby, don’t be fooled by hotel saying otherwise. No hot water for showers. Told to let water run 10 minutes because it’s solar. Water was consistently cold. Room comfortable. Amenities? There were none in the room I was in."

"I fell in love with Kisii, much in thanks to Humphrey's Hill House. Their property is spectacular. Lush gardens with a enormous pavillion, trails, and many beautiful places to sit and take in the views. Very tastefully decorated with local cultural artifacts. Staff where ALL kind, curious, and professional. We especially enjoyed the hospitality in the rooftop lounge, where the music, good and cocktails were all very much enjoyed. My favourite parts of the room were the large window bed and rain shower, both overlooking the forest and hill. I will definitely be back!"
