Located in the heights of Deshaies, this rental offers you the calm of the countryside, a superb view of the sea and is a starting point for beautiful walks.
The accommodation includes two air-conditioned bedrooms with double beds, a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, fridge with large freezer compartment, mixer, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster ...); dining room with satellite TV.
The 25 m2 deck terrace has a garden furniture and 2 sun loungers where you can enjoy the sunset. BBQ facilities are available.
Internet access is free and linen is provided. The nearest beaches (Grande Anse, Anse Rifflet, La Perle ...) are 5 minutes by car as are shops and restaurants.

Super place pour famille

Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 garçon ados, très confortable et propre. Super terrasse avec vue incroyable, idéal pour petit déjeuner et le diner. Bonne climatisation dans les chambres à coucher. Parfait emplacement pour accès a plusieurs belle plage. On recommande!

oase authentique

Dans cette maison à deux appartements au milieu de la belle nature chacun a une entrée séparée et vit de manière indépendante. La maison est très bien équipée avec de beaux meubles en bois et plusieurs endroits sympathiquement aménagés pour prendre un apéritif/petit-déjeuner (tablettes en bois à la barrière avec vue sur la nature luxuriante et la mer, chaises longues devant la même vue) et l'on s'y sent comme en visite chez quelqu'un pas dans un lieu anonyme de tourisme. De l'eau fraîche, des jus des biscuits des épices ... tout se trouve sur place il n'est pas nécessaire de faire des courses immédiatement. Les chambres sont parfaites, les lits très confortables invitent à un repos accompagné par les sons de la nature antillaise. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et ont pensé à tout dans ce petit paradis très particulier. Une maison qui a une âme et dans laquelle nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Amazing view and helpful host!

The view from the deck is so beautiful and we loved watching sunsets there! The deck is perfect for having breakfast, they really thought of everything. We loved how the kitchen and living area could be open air if you open up the window shutters, but could be shut down at night. Surprisingly not a lot of bugs, either, though maybe that’s because of the lack of rain. The kitchen has everything you need. The AC works well, so we were always comfortable. Very clean, too! There’s an outdoor shower to wash off sand before going inside, which is great. I’ll say the beds were a little hard. We enjoyed the little birds and lizards in the morning and looking at the frogs at night after it rained. The location was too far from the town to walk, which was disappointing because the listing seemed like it was closer. We also got the wrong address from VRBO and had some trouble finding the place since we don’t speak French and didn’t have cell service. Once we got in touch with Lionel (the host’s son who speaks English), it was no problem though! Lionel was so helpful with everything we needed, he even called stores to find out where we could get plug adapters!

Sejour tres agréable avec belle vue sur la mer

La location est au milieu d un environement tres naturel avec des oiseaux peu farouches. La localisation est ideale pour le nord de Basse Terre et a 5mn en voiture des commerces et restaurants de Deshaies, mais seul bémol un peu loin du Sud de l ile. Bref un sejour agreable grace aux hôtes reactifs et disponibles.

Guter Aufenthalt. Tolle Lage. Gute Ausstattung. Schöner Ausblick bis zum Ozean und in den Regenwald. Internet sehr schwach, Mückenschutz sinnvoll. Steile Anfahrt. Klimaanlage leise und leistungsfähig. Ruhig. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt und einfacher Check in und Check out. Aus meiner Sicht mit die beste Umgebung auf Guadeloupe.

Appartement im Grünen

Das Haus liegt sehr schön mitten im Grünen und man hat einen tollen Blick Richtung Meer. Harry ist sehr hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation klappt schnell und gut. Ein wenig mehr Sauberkeit wäre schön und ein wenig mehr Qualität bei handwerklichen Arbeiten an z.B. der Terrasse würden das Appartement sicherlich aufwerten. Insgesamt passt aber das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis.

Sur les hauts de Deshaies

Agréable séjour à Deshaies, bourh typique très agréable. Gîte dans un écrin de verdure avec vue un peu lointaine, sur la mer. Équipement en vaisselle un peu juste pour optimiser l'usage du lave-vaisselle. Mais très bon séjour.

Séjour à Deshaies

Nous avons passé une dizaine de jours près de ce joli port de Deshaies. La location était parfaite, confortable, dotée d’une jolie terrasse avec vue sur mer, dans un lieu très tranquille, en pleine nature, sur les hauteurs qui surplombent le village de Deshaies. Dominique et Harry sont des hôtes sympathiques, attentifs, réactifs et très bien organisés. Nous recommandons chaleureusement. Fabrice et Catherine

Location conforme à nos attentes. Vue sur la mer, calme, arborisé. Maison très bien équipée. Propriétaires très accueillants et sympathiques. Proximité des commerces, des plages merveilleuses....Et diverses curiosités de la Guadeloupe.

site exceptionnel avec vue sur l'océan de la terrasse avec les oiseaux le matin. appartement très bien équipé, cuisine fonctionnelle, très grande terrasse avec grand parasol où le soir ,il fait bon boire un punch face au coucher du soleil. les propriétaires sont charmants , pour accéder à la maison qui est toute en hauteur, la route est un peu raide mais ce n'est qu'une question d'habitude ! la maison du bonheur

La maison de Dominique et harry est idéalement placée a quelques pas du bourg mais au calme au bord de la forêt; le matin vue exceptionnelle sur l'océan dés le petit-déjeuner en terrasse et le soir coucher de soleil a domicile ! Nous étions dans l'appartement du bas et, sans vis a vis dans aucunes pièces, avec 2 belles chambres toutes équipées, un parking personnel pour 1 ou 2 voitures. Les équipements sont modernes et complets, tout a été refait très récemment, très propre, et si par hasard il manquait quelque chose harry est souvent dans le coin pour vous l'ammener ! De plus le bourg de deshaies est central pour partir en excursion : plongée, voilier avec journée à Montserrat ( nouveau en 2019) réserve Cousteau, bains d'eaux chaudes ou douches souffrées, marché au poisson de Baillargent, jardin de coluche, chocolaterie, plantations et visites de café ou bananes, tout cela est a moins de 15 km !! Et les plus belles, et naturelles plages de Guadeloupe sont ici : Grande Anse, la Perle et Cluny, soit plus de 10 km de plages ! De plus Dominique et Harry sont toujours disponibles pour vous conseiller, vous guider, et mème en cas de problèmes extenes il sauront vous aider. A noter qu'il disposeront très bientôt de voiture de location pour leurs hôtes, très apppréciable sur place. bref long séjour plus que réussi et nous avons déja hate d'y retourner !
