"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The large room with sea view was very good and the view was breathtaking. Breakfast was very good, lunch ok and evening snacks good. The bar shuts at 2200, which is good. There is a lovely beach/forest walk to the next beach. The bus stop is a short walk away with regular buses to Deshaies and other parts of the island. The island is beautiful and easy to get around. "

"Very nice and cozy guesthouse. Comfortable, spacious room with good AC and a nice shared veranda where we had breakfast each morning. Friendly host who speaks good English. Good location 50 m from beach. Limited option at night to eat, car is recommended. Since is a guesthouse rather than hotel there is no cleaning of room during stay."

The property was under major construction, some of which happened until midnight on two occasions when we were in the house trying to sleep. Other construction projects were happening, most of which involved demolition of parts of the house and no reconstruction.
