"My family loved Tanque Verde ranch! There were so many activities and my younger girls (aged 10) loved the kids program. My 12 year old son found it to be a little too “kiddie” for his taste, felt like it was geared towards young elementary aged kids. The food was great, our room was great, staff were nice, horses were amazing! Wish the food prices and menu hadn’t been changed for spring break, made our meal charges way higher for the week. My family did enjoy mountain biking but it seemed that inexperienced kids would sign up for the intermediate biking and then bring everyone down to a beginner speed or level, so that was a bummer for our experienced riders. We loved the Saloon, and honestly any chance we could get to be in the stables for rides. Cowboy cookout and line dancing was so fun! Already rebooked!"

"Our family had an absolutely wonderful week. The property is gorgeous in the house is simply lovely. We were four adults and 3.5 month old, and the setting and accommodations were perfect for us. The house is very well equipped. There is everything you need for cooking, for enjoying time by the pool or in the hot tub, and looking at wildlife out in the yard. The house is also conveniently located a short drive from restaurants, stores, and Saguaro National Park. The owners have so thoughtfully prepared a book with instructions for the house, a guide to local wildlife and information on local activities. Any questions directed to the owners received very quick responses. I highly recommend this location and hope to go back again soon!"

"We totally enjoyed our stay. The casita had everything we needed, and the surroundings were a delight. We had birdsong in the day, and coyotes at night. Our stay coincided with unseasonable heat, so we did less than other times in Tucson. It was wonderful to have the yard and pool area to relax in. We hope to stay again."

Could use updated faucets in kitchen, bathroom & shower. All of them difficult to turn off, sort of falling apart. "

"This was a great location to use as a base for hiking Saguaro East and Mt Lemmon. It was close to both, tucked away down a dirt road, but easy access to grocery stores and downtown Tucson. The cabin was clean and simple. It had all we needed to cook in and had washer/dryer for post hiking laundry. A pool to cool off in after hiking. "
