"Nice convenient place to stay at a decent price. "

"Excellent quiet place with outstanding service. Very clean and highly recommend. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. Only things to be aware is that the center of Varenna is a significant distance down the mountain. You can walk there but it is a pretty good distance. The hotel will arrange local taxi to take you down and back up. The cost will be between 10 and 15 euros each way but very much worth it. Other thing is that the room temperature is centrally controlled. Either heat or air conditioning is on. During our stay the heat was on as it gets cool at night. Our room was a bit stuffy but we kept the window open during the day which helped. The area is very beautiful."

"Hotel Vischi was amazing - we have been traveling in Italy for 2.5 weeks and spent our last 2 nights here. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing also. We loved the area as it is quieter than the south of the lake but has plenty of walks and areas to bike ride. The ferry pickup is a short walk away. There is also ample free parking at the hotel. We used the spa (steam room and sauna. We used the hotel complimentary bikes to go on a 15k bike ride to the northern tip of the lake (all on a bike path) We loved our stay and will be back "

"Our host, Gary, was very helpful with driving instructions and information about the area. The apartment's location is perfect for visiting Menaggio and Bellagio. The patio had spectacular views of the snow capped mountains and Lake Como. Enjoyed our stay at Apartment Tulipano!"

"Great location, close to train and ferry. Quiet at night. We had a beautiful view from our room. Breakfast is served at sister hotel down the street which is very good. Staff was helpful and kind."
