"Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend
I recently stayed at Dom Oliwski in Oliwa, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired.
For a room booked for three people, the tea and coffee facilities were shockingly limited: just three tea bags, no coffee, no sugar, no milk – and not even any cups. When I asked at reception, the receptionist bluntly told me that they simply don’t provide any of those things, with no apology or offer of assistance.

"Very tranquil place to unwind to from the hustle and bustle of the inner city right off the sand shores of the Baltic Sea. Highly recommended and deserves a longer stay with the exceptional breakfast restaurant and accommodating staff."

"It was just a quick stay to have a nap before the early morning flight. The hotel is basic, but clean. The service at the reception desk was very friendly. "

"I gave four stars instead of five because I didn’t like that the stuff working in the breakfast room started to clean the tables before the breakfast was over and the guests were still there. I couldn’t get my breakfast because my coffee was twice taken from my table without checking."

The shower is positioned so low that only a child or someone very short could realistically use it in a conventional way. There is no air conditioning, which is a major issue during the summer – you’re left choosing between sweating in the heat or opening the window and listening to traffic from the busy road right outside.
To top it off, the mattresses were very uncomfortable, making for a poor night’s sleep.
The breakfast and outside area made my overall score higher than it would have been. The breakfast area was well-stocked, and there was nobody else present, so it was free from the hustle and bustle that accompanies most breakfast buffets.
Overall, this was a disappointing and uncomfortable stay, and I found the hotel to be unwelcoming and lacking basic amenities. I cannot recommend Dom Oliwski to other travelers."
"I have been to this hotel for a fourth time. This time, I finally decided to write a review. The place had a great location in terms of connectivity to other city neighborhoods via nearby tram and bus stops. The property is not too updated but the rooms serve the purpose well and the price paid seems very reasonable for what you get. The room had all the basic stuff needed. It was clean with a balcony overlooking a beautiful park which I enjoyed looking at and which also efficiently insulated the hotel from traffic noise. Although the room appeared not to be exceptionally well sound proofed, I did not hear laud noises from other guests even though there were many families with children around at that time. My impression was that the hotel clientele is rather mature and respectful to other guests. There is a swimming pool, spa and fitness area none of which I attended. The close proximity of the beach, parks and running paths made a runner like me so preoccupied with it, that I did not even have a desire to use those facilities. The breakfast was very good but bit on the expensive side. The biggest positive in my mind was the restaurant. The served food had some amazing taste combinations and there were also fantastic deserts. It was not expensive, the place not crowded and generally calm where one can peacefully sip a glass of wine in the evening. I loved it."
