Stay in the heart of Capitol Hill in a private, self-contained guest suite with its own entrance and full bathroom. The setup functions like a hotel room: you have your own door, your own bathroom, and the freedom to come and go independently.

The suite has a queen-size bed, mini refrigerator, hot and cold filtered water, and access to laundry on site. A cot can be added for a third guest, allowing the room to accommodate up to three people.

IMPORTANT ACCESS NOTE: This is a third-story walk-up in an older Capitol Hill building. There is no elevator, so guests must be comfortable climbing stairs.

The location is the real star.

The suite is at 523 E. 12th Avenue in Capitol Hill, a residential pocket immediately east of downtown. You’re about four blocks from the Colorado State Capitol, close enough to downtown to explore it on foot while staying in an actual Denver neighborhood rather than a downtown hotel district.

Capitol Hill is one of Denver’s oldest and most distinctive neighborhoods. It began as home to some of the city’s wealthiest residents, and the architecture still tells that story: elaborate nineteenth-century houses and mansions now coexist with apartments, cafés, bars, shops and music venues. The Denver Public Library describes modern Capitol Hill as a mixture of residential, governmental and commercial life filled with museums, cafés, clubs, galleries, coffeehouses and shops.

That mixture is exactly what makes the neighborhood interesting. Capitol Hill isn’t polished into a tourist district. It’s lived-in Denver.

You can walk out the door in the morning for coffee, head toward the Capitol and museums, spend the afternoon downtown, come back to change, walk toward Colfax for a concert or drinks, and return to a residential street at the end of the night.
