Our family of four loved our recent stay - the book-filled rooms alone had me at hello! The house is well stocked, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It served us well as a home base for sightseeing in Denver and Colorado Springs!
Quirky and aged, but in the most charming and whimsical ways. Extremely walkable location with nearby shops, restaurants, and even a farmers market! Responsive and friendly hosts.to boot!
From the minute, we walked in, we felt like we were home. Beautiful Victorian charm and many many unique and wonderful pieces of art and collectibles. Extremely close to all shops and eateries and major highways. Would recommend this home to all that are visiting the Denver area.
We spent almost a week here, probably still missed some hidden art, inspirational words or garden treasure. What a fun and comfortable place to stay for my 60th birthday and our 36th anniversary! We had a hilarious game night around the large dining table and a lovely dinner in the private back garden. Snow days were for movie nights as we experienced all weather during our stay! Can’t say enough about this home or the kindness of the hosts!
Thanks for the lovely flowers Cindy and Alex!
The property is beautiful and has so much character. Check in was super simple and the owner communicated all required information prior to our arrival and was really responsive. We were in Denver for 5 days with our 2 children (7yo and 4yo) and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Highlands is brilliant area in itself with shops and restaurants just a couple of minutes away. My wife could have spent the entire time just around there! Getting to other places in Denver was really quick including to the airport for our journey home. Parking at the property was easy and the house really had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.
This lovely house was a home base for our family during the week of our daughter’s Denver wedding. The home has old world Victorian charm. Inside there is an inviting mix of mid century elements, garden chic, and color moments. The container garden is a beautiful gathering spot.
We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in this well-stocked home. Cindy and Alex are wonderful hosts who make themselves readily available for questions. On the morning of the wedding we were unable to locate an iron in the house and the hosts made a quick trip to Target, delivering both an iron and a steamer to the door in no time.
The neighborhood is wonderfully walkable and we enjoyed the tree lined streets and the local shops and restaurants.
All in all a great stay!
My family and I had an amazing time. Home was in an excellent location and beautifully decorated. Outdoor gathering space in the back was amazing. Highly recommend!!
We loved the character of this old house and its decor. It was comfortable, spacious, and extremely well equipped. We loved the walkability of the neighborhood and its proximity to restaurants, shops, and the Sunday market.
Excellent stay with family to celebrate a graduation. Well equipped kitchen; great backyard. Nearby weekend farmer’s market was crowded but a must do. Plenty of room for all of our guests. I would recommend the house to friends.
Family trip to Denver over the holidays - 2 adults and our adult children plus dog. House was perfect for the family stay with room to spread out and also hang out together. Home was super well-appointed, comfortable, with cool design and stylish character. Neighborhood was great for walking, coffee shops, restaurants, and nearby to downtown Denver (but in it's own fun but quiet neighborhood). Would definitely come back!
Another fabulous stay! Where should I begin? All was excellent, with wonderful accommodations, clean, quiet, high touch service and in walking distance to restaurants and shops. You won't be disappointed.

SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!!
We had the best stay in this gorgeous, comfortable, dream of a home. Cindy was great and left us treats, wine, great instructions on how to get around, and how to best enjoy the place. There was charm around every corner and the backyard patio was like a secluded haven to enjoy dinner on the warm September nights. The beds were super comfy! We loved their store on 32nd ave nearby. The staff was great and really took care of us. Can't wait to come back and bring friends.
Great house and one block to many restaurants/bars. Owner has an office in the separate garage and was available for questions, etc. All beds were comfy, and the internet TV is signed in to ESPN, HBO Max, Netflix, and more. Lots of fiction and other books. Well tended garden on the back deck with great privacy. Hope t return soon !
Cindy's home was absolutely perfect. Not only is it beautiful inside, the location can not be beaten.
The decor was a mix of eclectic and classic victorian, and it is extremely warm and welcoming.
It is incredibly well stocked, and we were a good test to that since we had the fortune of hosting our Thanksgiving dinner there. There was absolutely everything there that we needed, and then some.
Communication with our hostess, Cindy, couldn't have been better. She always got back to me within minutes and went above and beyond the call to familiarize us with her home prior to our stay.
I am so thrilled we had the opportunity to stay in Cindy's beautiful home. Thanks so much Cindy!!~~

Comfort, character and charm!
From the moment we walked in we immediately felt at home. The unique furnishings of the home were such a refreshing change from the usual hotel stay. The old charm of the house was just exquisite--something that you must truly experience in person. The entire house was more than spacious for the 6 of us who stayed. The bedrooms were more than accommodating in comfort and room. Everything was very well kept and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need from utensils, plates, pots, toaster, etc. I was even able to make a full 2-tiered wedding cake for a family wedding using the stand mixer and other appliances provided at the house! The location is incredible! The house is a block away from the main street area where there are plenty of boutiques and delicious restaurants. The homeowners checked in regularly to make sure that everything was going smoothly for us and to see if we needed anything. The day we walked in they had left the refrigerator stocked with some drinks and snacks to get us started with our stay. We were treated more as house guests than renters by Cindy and Alex. It was truly such a welcoming, comfortable, and positive stay. The next time we are in Denver, we will definitely stay here again!
The pictures on VRBO can't capture the incredible decor and artistry of this property. It is cozy and welcoming, wild and wonderful, creaky and captivating.
All the modern amenities with a quirky and delightful esthetic.
The artwork alone is worth a visit.
We loved every bit.
My adult family stayed for a weekend break from the Texas heat. It is a very clean and spacious a house with a beautiful quiet back patio. It has wonderful/helpful hosts and is a 2 minute walk from shops/coffee/restaurants and a 10 minute drive to downtown Denver. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.
Great location and really amazing urban backyard oasis to enjoy the outdoors and dine with friends and family. Just a short walk to all the highlands have to offer with some of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at. Absolutely great place to stay.
