What a great place to stay. Only criticism is the shower - 360 curtain a bit much. Walking distance of some great restaurants and always felt safe! Also easy to get to pretty much anywhere we wanted! Would recommend.
Perfect spot for my wife and two kids. Great access to restaurants and broadway
Quick shot to downtown
Parking one drawback as street parking can take some patience
Nice little cozy apartment with everything you need for a couple or small family. It was clean and well stocked. Neighborhood has lots of shops and bars close.
Our was a wonderful stay! So convenient and close to things we love, like restaurants and the Mayan movie theater.
Peole who have trouble with stairs may need to know about the climb up to the bedrooms. But it did our legs/hearts good
goidgood to have the exercise
Nikki's place is in a great location, close to restaurants and shops. We walked to Molly Brown House Museum and numerous restaurants. Parking is tricky, but we found the trick to be getting settled out front by around 5pm. The antique brownstone is spotless, comfortable, well appointed and charming. It's a great jumping off place for visiting Denver and surrounding area. We would be delighted to come again when we're visiting our Colorado family.
Great property— on the smaller side but well appointed with everything you need for a great stay. Perfect for a couple and the outdoor space and on-site laundry were a bonus. Walkable to South Broadway area restaurants and bars. Communication was awesome— Nikki quickly answered a question we had about the audio system. We would def return.
The property is amazing. The owners are great, their is so many place to go and eat within walking. Parking was great for us. We were able to park in front everyday. But i could see it being hard to park. Everything about the property was great inside and out. The owners make it easy for everything. Thank you again.
House was perfect for the three of us. Nikki helped us troubleshoot a TV issue and was friendly and accommodating. Love the Baker neighborhood for many reasons including its walkability. Back patio is great. Good vibes all the way around.
This house is conveniently located near public transportation and it is in a neighborhood full of dog walkers and people walking/biking around. The hardest part was trying to find parking for the rental car BUT the property owners have a map conveniently located on the fridge so you can see where you can/cannot park. The house was very clean and welcoming. If we ever head back to Denver I will be booking again!!
We had a great time staying downtown history district. The parking can be overwhelming if you are not use to it, but once you know the areas you can park it’s all good! The convenience of lots of restaurants to eat walking distance were a plus! We loved snooze and atomic cowboy. You can walk and shop too! The hostess provided toiletries which I was thankful because I forgot my toothbrush. We were able to go to Rocky Mountain, Evergreen town, drove by Boulder, walked a lot on Broadway, and saw a show in commerce. My favorite about the house was the shower; great water pressure. They provide plenty of towels. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was well stocked. They had everything we needed!
PROS:
A wonderful historic home stocked with everything you need for a short, simple stay. Lots of extras included (kitchen equipment, bathroom supplies, BBQ etc.)
Close to many restaurants, pubs, shops and close to public transit.
Great patio in the backyard for sitting out in the evenings.
Owner communication was simple and to the point.
CONS:
PARKING. On-street parking is very, very limited and it is very difficult to find a spot. The map left by the owners is also misleading/does not provide enough information. Be very carful or you may get a ticket. If you are traveling with a vehicle this may not be the spot for you. Had to park 4 or 5 blocks away or be on constant alert for a spot.
Advertising this home as having "Street parking available" is disingenuous at best and an outright lie at worst.
Yes, there is technically a very small amount of very limited parking theoretically available, but you will almost certainly not be able to use it. If you have luggage or children, be prepared to walk up to 5 blocks to your car every time you leave, and spend 15-20min hunting the nearby streets for a spot every time you come back.
Door code was not as provided in confirmation email and had to be updated by owners via text.
Wifi name was not as listed in the confirmation or on the sign in the unit. We got it working on our own by guessing. Wifi failed several times and had to be restarted.
Overall a very positive experience marred by horrible access and parking.
Centrally located, comfortable, and clean! Owner developed a 3 ring binder with restaurant recommendations and maps of the area. Nikki was very responsive to questions/concerns.
