We stayed here with our family of 6 for several days. The home was clean and as described with fresh flowers. The owner reached out earlier in the day of check in and allowed us to have access several hours early. They checked in halfway through our stay and the check out was easy. Thank you for the memories !!
This place was so beautiful. Great location for what my group needed, plenty of street parking for the weekend, lots of space. Host had good communication as well.
A group of us stayed here for my bachelorette party in September 2024, and we had an AMAZING time! The place was extremely clean, the pool and hottub were so warm and relaxing, and the location was perfect for walkability and safety. Highly recommended!
We had 9 adults staying in the house for 6 days for my brothers 60th birthday. The house was beautiful and we loved the fact that it was incredibly old, yet nicely remodeled. The neighborhood was nice and transportation (UBER) was always less than 5 minutes away. We walked to Union Station, Coors Field and the Convention Center with ease, and nobody was under 50 years old, so very nice! Local dining was spectacular. House was immaculate. Washer and Dryer was convenient to say the least. We never used the Spa nor the Pool because our schedule was so busy, but they looked wonderful.
This fun 1888 renovated property exceeded our expectations and will be highly recommended for locals and travelers coming to town. We stayed mid Oct and the heated pool and hot tub were a hit. We are locals that wanted a fun property to have a mini staycation, after our stay we’d love to come back again and again. Everything was clean except a few leaves in the pool, but is fall in Colorado and it didn’t effect anything. The kids swam into the late night while adults soaked in the hot tub. The pics do not give the inside of the house justice, so if you like what you see, just wait, it’s so much cooler! We were just minutes away from a grocery store and so many fun restaurants. Overall we all had an amazing experience!
Place is beautiful and location is great! The property manager was not very communicative, helpful, or straightforward.
Main issues:
1. There were no check in or check out instructions provided. I had to ask for both upon arrival and departure. We forgot to leave the parking tag which resulted in several panicked calls from the manager. We immediately returned it. But this could be mentioned in check out instructions.
2. The hot tub didn’t work. This was a big reason we picked this location. Property manager was unwilling to consider any sort of refund and was largely unresponsive to the issue.
3. Repair people told us they entered the house when we were away after property manager assured us that repair people would be working outside but would not enter the house.
It’s a beautiful and unique property in a very cool place. Wasn’t enjoyable to interact with the property manager though.
Great place for reunion weekend with friends from high school. Rental was neat and clean with plenty of room for 6. We enjoyed pool and spa. Not a bad walk to Coors field. Neighborhood was a little sketchy, but no real safety concerns.
This was a beautiful large home, well stocked, excellent central location in downtown Denver. Parking is easy and Greg is responsive. It would be helpful to have WiFi information and cleaning/departure instructions posted somewhere in the home. Also, if you have young kids, the spiral stairs up to the loft would require all of your attention to ensure they are safe.
My friends and I had a great stay during our two day visit to Denver. The home is located on the cusp of downtown and Five Points, both of which are very walkable and close to restaurants, parks, bars, and several grocery stores. My group of seven had plenty of room, we never felt like we were on top of each other.
Beautifully remodeled and comfortable home near downtown Denver. Six of us stayed while attending 2023 NCAA tournament games at Ball Arena. We used Uber to get around but there is a light rail station very close if you prefer. There is a pool and hot tub but neither were in use as it was mid-March and the weather was chilly. The house has all the details covered in the way of bedding, towels, coffee maker, TV, Wi-Fi, small appliances, etc. Recommend it highly.

Disliked: Check-in, communication, location
Terrible communication- Disaster for our family
The bad experience for this property began on our way to get to it. It was past check in time, and I still had not received a door code from the managers. Messaged a few hours before, but with no response. Finally after check in time I texted the direct phone number and received a code.
We had to fight the downtown traffic to get to the house and drive through a sketchy area close to the house that made us question staying near there. However we arrived at the address and parked, only to see other visitors coming and going from the house. It was already rented to other guests! We sat there and attempted to contact VRBO and the managers with no solutions. VRBO dropped the call several times and we had to start all over again.
We finally had to drive around trying to rent a hotel for 5 people in downtown Denver which required two rooms, and was expensive and stressful.
The manager for the house claimed VRBO said they would handle the refund and VRBO said the homeowner had to. I finally had to dispute the charge with my bank, since we had never received the reservation we paid for.
I did not feel simply getting the money back for the reservation was adequate compensation for the trouble the mixup with the reservation was to us.
