The air conditioner did not work for the entire stay nor the room phone. The room phone was explained as being due to recent renovations. I had tried to call down through my phone several times and was transferred to the main menu or they could not hear me and never got transferred to the front desk. I ended up having to walk down each time. Apparently they were working on the AC unit and each time I passed the front desk, they had no updates. The final night the front desk attendant had no knowledge about the issue and tried to reiterate that a technician just needed to come adjust the thermostat and that they ran on central air but she did not know about any issues with the AC. I told her that apparently it was not working and she said she would look into it and send a technician up to change the room temperature if it was fixed. No one changed the room temperature throughout the stay, fixed the air conditioner, or gave me any updates. I asked for a fan but they said they were all out. I was never offered a room change or given any updates other than when I asked and they always stated it was being worked on or they did not know there was an issue. I did not sleep well for the entire stay as I was sweating and restless.
