Super 8 Carroll has a freshen look and surroundings. Room was spacious, offered both Direct TV & Roku. Area had a major snowstorm during our visit. Room microwave/refrig made it possible to have meals in our room and avoid getting out in the storm. Beds were good quality. Great pressure in shower. Management worked hard to clear parking lot and made us feel welcome. Offered a varied breakfast and anytime hot cocoa ..lots of attention to small & big details. Will definitely stay when in the area.

Very quiet I slept like a rock no noise from the halls. Beds was comfy water was hot. I didnt try the breakfast or pool i slept to sound.

The staff is friendly & helpful. The breakfast was good but we wished it had later hours, perhaps making it 7-10 am instead of 6-9 am. The ice machine wasn't working which was a big disappointment for a hotel. Overall, we would stay again.

Had the grandkids along and they really enjoyed the pool and the waffles. Seemed to be a local family running the place with even the kids happily pitching in. Nothing beats the safety and peace of a friendly small town in Iowa.

We needed to change our arrival date due to a blizzard arriving Wed. Although usual check in is by midnight they were able to accommodate a 115am arrival. Also due to the power outage Thurs in dome rooms, including ours, they were able to allow us to have another that did have power until it came on few hours later
