The property was amazing and there were multiple trails to walk, two separate community centers with pools, hot tubs, sauna's, exercise room, and a games room so everyone has something to do
We’ll maintained unit in community w ample amenities in a wooded environment. Excellent short trail along side a scenic river. Nearest such facility to Mt. Baker activities.
First, the communication was stellar. I hadn’t paid attention to the check in instructions but I received a helpful text to see if I needed anything and I was able to get the info needed before it was a problem.
The place was excellent, perfect really. Couldn’t have had a better stay in a more perfect place.
The Snowater is a nice place near Mt Baker to stay providing us some of the quickest access to the peak when the clouds went away long enough. We were able to get nice pictures of the peak this year!
Even though the unit is pet friendly there should be more done to remove the lingering odor left behind from pets. The screen door did not fully close so the main door could not be left open for ventilation. Numerous utensils were dirty in the drawer. The washer is not left open when not in use and made our clothes smell moldy after washing them. The instructions for the Wi-Fi (very weak) in the book were incorrect, this should be updated with the correct login and password.
Convenient location for hiking in mt. Baker national forest.
Loved the place lots to do and our dog Libby loved the doggie gift you supplied for her!!
This property was simple to book and check in was very convenient.. I received many email and text messages that provided wonderful instructions!!

Old and Smelly
Electrical outlets and switches were scary. All plugs were unplugged from outlets. ?? Never seen that before. Firewood supply low, had to request a bundle and kindling/ starter both days. Dimmer switch for ceiling lights in living room sparked when turned on. Living room rug smelled like dog. It snowed every night 5-10” and our steps leading 50’ up to our door were not shoveled nor was there a shovel for us to use. No directions on which of 3 plugs to use in 2 outlets. No directions on 3 remotes for TV, Roku DVD.
Sadly, Glacier WA experienced a wind and rain storm a day or two before our scheduled arrival that knocked out power to all of Glacier including this resort community. The property manager and owner were good about notifying us in advance and provided an outage kit that included flashlights, lanterns, camp stoves, cooler & ice, firewood, etc. We spent one of our 3 scheduled nights here without power and made the best of it but without hot water and with uncertainty about when the power would be back on we decided to pull the plug (ha-ha) and make different accommodations. This was a challenge without power and internet in this remote area but we found a coffee shop and bakery nearby with wi-fi. The owner was generous and accommodating and the situation was in no way their fault. On a positive note, from what we could tell the unit is as described and noted in the VRBO description. We would love to have stayed under better circumstances.

Lots of trails to walk on and the site is next to a river.
The house was so beautiful that I wasn't able to get enough of it. The fireplace did give some trouble but that's probably because of my naiveness with them. The neighborhood is awesome, and you see nature like you've never before.
I gave this home a five star. We loved the cozy condo with the nice touches like doggie treats, complimentary wine, and coffee and tea. It was close to mt baker (30 min away) which was convenient for us. The only con I would say though was after we had checked out I got a text message from the owner saying “it looks like you burned the carpet” with a picture of a stain or burn tough to tell. We hadn’t used the fireplace or had fire at all during our entire stay so it was a bit off putting that the owner was accusing us of causing that mark on the carpet. I wouldn’t have handled the situation that way especially after we had explained that it wasn’t us a couple of times. Then they backed off and apologized. Other than that we enjoyed our stay...
